Restructuring and Expansion of Growth & Form Editorial Board Completed
March 27th, 2023

As noted by the Editor-in-Chief in his Editorial published in Volume 3, Issue 1-2 of Growth and Form, the restructuring and expansion of the journal's Editorial Board has now been completed. The number of areas/sections has been expanded from the original three ("Botany/Biology", "Geometry" and "Mathematics") to six (adding "Mathematics Education", "Physics" and "Technology") with three Editors covering each area. We welcome eight new Editorial Board members in total from the United States, Italy, Croatia, Czech Republic and Portugal. The aim of these changes is to broaden the number of application areas covered by the journal, as well as the number of Editors affiliated with the journal, with the ultimate goal to attract more submissions and to improve the chance of getting Growth and Form accepted for indexation in the major databases in the long term. Please refer to the journal's Editorial Board page for a complete overview of the resulting board after these changes.

Growth and Form Re-Launched by Athena and Open for New Submissions
February 16th, 2022

Growth and Form has been re-launched by Athena International Publishing and is now open again for new submissions. Since its launch in 2019 the journal has been published by Atlantis Press which was acquired by Springer Nature at the beginning of 2021. Two volumes were published in 2020 and 2021, but after the acquisition of Atlantis Press it was decided to discontinue the journal and transfer its ownership back to the Founding Editor. As of 2022 (Volume 3), Athena International Publishing is the new publisher of Growth and Form which will initially become a half-yearly publication with issues scheduled in June and in December. All articles published in the journal before this transfer will also be migrated to the Athena platform. The journal's Founding Editor Johan Gielis will continue as the sole Editor-in-Chief while the Editorial Board remains largely unchanged. Growth and Form is now open for submissions again which will be temporarily accepted via email until the setup of the new online submission system is completed.
